Avon Wildlife Trust has restored the unspoiled 18th
century buildings and landscape at Folly Farm to create a regional environment
centre promoting:

A better understanding of sustainable development

- An understanding of what climate change really
means
|
- An appreciation of the natural world and the
importance of biodiversity
|
It will be:
The residential centre will have bedroom space
for up to 50 visitors and facilities in the restored farm buildings include:
- Teaching and training rooms
|
|
|
- Multi-use reception space
|
|
|
- Farmhouse accommodation for school and other
groups
|
- Self contained accommodation in ‘bothies’ for
adults and corporate users
|
It will offer:
A programme of environmentally focused courses for everyone
from schoolchildren to adults including:
- Educational courses - from day visits to week
long programmes
|
|
|
- Guided walks through the restored historic landscape
|
|
- Special events and open days
|
Who is it for?
The Folly Farm Centre is for everyone.
- The Centre will be accessible and enjoyable
for disabled and special needs groups.
|
|
- Companies will be able to use the excellent
training and conference facilities either as day visitors or
on a residential basis.
|
- The nature reserve will remain open to everyone
to enjoy, explore and discover its undisturbed wildlife.
